THANKS GIVING DAY – Thursday 22 november
Today’s the day to celebrate the pilgrims discovering America. Thanks giving day. It was nice to be involved in the festivities and be an honorary American for the day.
So i've been given this super awesome opportunity to work as a firefighter in Antarctica. I'm on the American base called McMurdo, which is positioned on the Ross Ice Shelf of Antarctica. We are situated 3km away from New Zealand's base- Scott Base.
I'm here for 5 months over the Antarctic summer. We have 24 hours of daylight.
